What do you get when ordering the DMAIC Suite?
Once you order and pay the DMAIC Suite, you will be directed to a Download directory where you will find the DMAIC Suite zip file to download to your computer.
First download the file "DMAIC Suite V2 english.zip" to your computer.
Then you will need to unzip this downloaded zip file (usually done by double clicking on it).
Finally you will get an excel file named "DMAIC Suite V2 english.xlsx" on your computer.
You can open the file in Excel by double clicking on it or opening first Excel and then opening the DMAIC Suite V2 english.xlsx file in Excel. The DMAIC Suite contains 15 worksheets. All worksheets come with prefilled data provided for example.
What to do first when working with the DMAIC Suite?
First thing that we recommend you to do is to save as the DMAIC Suite file onto your computer under a different name and keep the original DMAIC Suite V2 english.xlsx file as a backup.
Then you will have to clear all the prefilled data and start to fill the columns with your data. In case of data existing in another excel file, we recommend to copy and paste special values these existing data in the DMAIC Suite model.
For your information, all the blue cells are protected cells. All the white cells are not protected and you can input your data in them. Protected blue cells cannot be erased but they can be formatted and for those which contain formulas, the formulas are visible.
VSM Calculator:
Quickly calculate the data from a VSM session. Value stream analysis is one of the easiest methods to analyze a process and identify areas that can be improved. Aside from the working template is a completed template to use as a sample illustration. It includes the associated graphs generated from the tool.
What do you get when ordering the VSM Calculator?
Once you order and pay the VSM Calculator, you will be directed to a Download directory where you will find the VSM Calculator v6 zip file to download to your computer.
